Today I would like to present to you a couple of new items I haven’t shown before.
Shweshwe covered wooden beads with a couple of blue polymer clay added.
The buttons on the top cuff are all ones that I found in my favourite antique shop. I suspect the cuff might be too large for a “normal” person (whatever that is).
Puffy pink shweswe earrings, they are so lightweight, you’ll forget you’re wearing them.
A couple of cuffs on a vintage mannequin hand, also found at my favourite antique place.
As shweshwe comes in gorgeous prints these days it’s easy to make a “standard” bracelet like this piece of shweshwe jewelery.
Some more shweshwe in a tiny pillow shape, again extremely lightweight.
Some shweshwe covered wooden beads and a little round pillow.
Unfortunately I had a hard time finding real silver things, so all of the shweshwe jewelery pieces are on nickel plated stuff.
The shweshwe textile jewelery is something I haven’t seen anybody else doing in any shape, way or form, so it looks like it might be another FIRST for HH.
Please feel free to laugh at my terrible photos, and to leave a comment.
